One of the most important forms of Tzedakah is to give financial assistance to a young couple getting married, referred to as Hachnasat Kallah.

We are reminded daily in our morning prayers of this essential mitzvah.

A wedding should be a simcha – not a struggle.
But for too many Melbourne couples, the cost is overwhelming.

Tikvah LeKallah is a discreet Hachnasat Kallah fund that helps around 30 couples a year cover essential wedding costs and set up their first home.

"Upon hearing the wonderful news of the engagement of our child and being caught up with the joy, we were then confronted with the reality of the situation.
